THE DESK THAT FINALLY GIVES YOUR BOOKS SOMEWHERE TO LIVE
Halden solves the problem every home office eventually has: the desk is fine, but everything that belongs near the desk has nowhere to go. Three open shelves stack vertically beside the working surface, so reference books, a scanner and the good headphones stay within reach without stealing desktop real estate. Because the storage goes up rather than out, it fits a spare-room wall that a full desk-plus-bookcase pairing never would. It is the difference between a room with a desk in it and a room that works.
WHY IT EARNS ITS PLACE ON YOUR DESK
- Ties the shelf tower into the desk frame — so the whole unit behaves as one rigid piece instead of two things leaning on each other.
- Takes about 80kg on the desktop and 10kg per shelf — enough for a monitor, a laptop dock and a genuinely full row of hardbacks.
- Resists the daily abuse — with a moisture-sealed board that handles a knocked mug without staining or swelling.
- Puts power at desk height — with built-in outlets and a dimmable LED strip along the shelf, so nothing trails to the wall.
- Assembles in roughly 30 minutes — with labelled panels, cam-lock joints and every fixing pre-counted in the bag.
